The Prolato Clinical Research Center Clinical Research & Healthcare Innovation Program is a structured learning experience designed for high-achieving individuals interested in advancing the future of clinical research. Participants gain direct exposure to Phase I-IV clinical trials while working alongside clinical research coordinators, nurses, recruiters, and regulatory professionals. High School Clinical Research Intensive

One week each spring, by school partnership and staff referral only. Students rotate through departments alongside a different staff member each day, then earn a certificate of completion. Capped at 4 students. Requires a signed internship agreement and parent media release.

College Clinical Research Externship

Two weeks each summer, application-based, for undergraduate and pre-health students. Covers the full study lifecycle — regulatory setup, patient recruitment, and coordinator shadowing — in more depth than the high school track.

CRC Shadowing & Training

For recent graduates pursuing a clinical research coordinator career, and current Prolato staff developing toward a coordinator role. Structured shadowing, GCP training, and a defined path toward a coordinator position, scheduled individually.
